I was on a site yesterday where people write in with their fitness questions. Many of the questions are related to “what’s the best way to lose x number of pounds”, or “how can I get six-pack abs?”
The responses just blew me away. Here were ignorant people with no training, giving out health and fitness advice.
Some of the responses were just plain silly, but it concerned me that this “advice” might actually be taken by the reader.
Our word of caution to you is to please investigate your “advisor”. Does he/she have a degree? Or certifications? Experience?
Don’t just take someone’s advice…you may be playing with your health if you do.
