Learn From These Fitness Mistakes

Obesity is a growing problem in America and you can’t travel far each day before seeing it. It got me thinking…if we know what doesn’t work in order to stay lean and healthy…then why are we fat? Or why don’t we learn from our mistakes? Let’s take a look of what doesn’t work when it comes to losing weight and keeping it off.

• Eating fast food
• Not exercising
• Not making sleep a priority (turning off the TV)

Rather than making a long list of “fluff”, just focus on these three to start losing weight:

1. Eating fast food. I really don’t believe that anyone on this planet thinks that they can get away with eating crap at fast food places and maintain a healthy weight.
You are making a choice…eat fast food=keep the lard.

2. Not exercising. Once again, we have all heard that exercise reduces the risk of diseases while improving us on so many levels. You don’t need any more studies to tell you this…just make it a priority and get it done.

3. Not making sleep a priority. I find this one more challenging as our schedules get more complicated, and our free time is imposed upon. Look at ways to see how you can simplify your life, and make your recovery time important.

This may sound somewhat abrasive, but I’d rather be abrasive and have you get results, than have you hanging on for some secret solutions. Prioritize your health and fitness!!
