In order to make sure that you are on the right track, you’ll need to track your results from training. There are many ways such as bodyfat testing, circumference measurements with a tape measure, scale weight, etc.
I believe the most practical is by looking in the mirror and seeing how your clothes fit. You know if your pants are tighter. You can also tell by looking in the mirror. How does it look? Be truthful.
If you have improved then congratulations. If not, then change your training, look at your diet, and see if your sleep is adequate.
Don’t over complicate things. Just get busy.
